OVERVIEW
The TME-28 Shiva is a deadly assault 'Mech, directing its batteries of energy weapons with the deadly accuracy of a targeting computer. This ability to strike with finesse caused a fervor when it was introduced in 3058 to the Inner Sphere.
CAPABILITIES
Two extended-range large lasers and six extended-range medium lasers make up the bulk of the Shiva's arsenal, and they are focused to pinpoint accuracy with a targeting computer in the left torso. An LRM-10 provides ranged support and an extra-light engine propels the Shiva 33 percent faster than most other hundred-ton designs. Twenty double heat sinks help dissipate the heat.
DEPLOYMENT
The TME-28 is a moderately successful design. TME engineers are planning an improvement so striking that it will actually be given a different production number.
