I've moved to California and am starting on my new job, as well as trying to figure out what to do with my time now that I'm on my own and living for myself, pretty much. That's trickier than you'd expect for someone as service-oriented as me.

Anyway, a new stream-of-consicousness rant is up. It should fill you in. Sort of

Three months. Ah well; I've always said I have too many hobbies.

I picked up the TechManual and Total Warfare for the good ol' Classic BattleTech line, so I've finally got a reason to go through and spruce up the BattleTech designs flufftext. I'm a real engineer now, with a real engineering job, and I've seen how mistakes happen and things futz up. I'm pretty sure I can write better flufftext and, well, I can improve the art--just look at my gallery--and once I (finally) invest in Heavy Metal Pro I can basically put in all the stuff people seem to care about, including cost and Battle Value. The pictures were originally for the 800 x 600 version of this page, and they're unforgivably small now. I'll work up a new format that may catch the eye a bit more. Who knows.

Beyond that, I've a new rant up. Have fun!
