"Zhukov" <zzhyoo'khov> verbTo defeat an opponent by using massive reserves.  Derives from the Terran military leader Georgii Zhukov (AD 1896-1974), commander-in-chief of the military forces of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics in (Terrestrial) World War II.  He was known for keeping large forces in reserve, which he then usually used to obtain victory against enemies that overextended themselves.
